Cantor's Notes
In addition to leading services, Cantor Merel is involved in a vast array of programming at Temple Sinai. As a teacher, she works with the B'nei Mitzvah students, confirmation students, adult Torah cantillation students and both parents and children in the Family Connections program. Cantor Merel conducts both the Adult Volunteer Choir and Intergenerational Choir, who sing at various Shabbat services and special programs throughout the year. Cantor Merel also works in serving the pastoral needs of the congregation such as visiting the sick and comforting the bereaved.
