Rabbi Gershon fosters a caring community and creates a spiritual and intellectual center for our congregation. He is in his 15th year as Rabbi of Temple Sinai. Prior to this, Rabbi Gershon was the assistant and associate rabbi at Temple Emanuel in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Rabbi Gershon is the author of "Kol Nidrei: Its Origin, Development, and Significance." He sits on the Commission of Life-Long Jewish Learning as a representative of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. Rabbi Gershon received his B.A. in Judaic Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He holds an M.A. in Jewish Education from The Jewish Theological Seminary and an M.A. in Hebrew literature from the Hebrew Union College Jewish Institute of Religion. Rabbi Gershon was ordained in 1989.

Rabbi Gershon is married to Diana Knight and they have a son, Aaron who is 15 years old.
