Sisterhood
An organization whose primary mission is to create, strengthen and sustain relationships among the women of Temple Sinai.

Sisterhood is a women’s social organization which provides the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, and strengthen the bonds between women and the larger Temple Sinai community.

Our Sisterhood leadership for 2009-2010 is as follows:

President: Marcia Grosswald
Vice President: Sheila Chandonnet
Treasurer: Shari Nyman

Book Group chairs: Sally Lebwohl and Mimi Mehta
Cooking Committee chair: Ruthie Arnold and Laura Coburn
Social Committee chairs: Lyn Eisenthal and Sandra Bird

Our committee leadership generally rotates annually and each committee co-chair serves a two year term.

Sisterhood has many activities in store for 2009/2010. There will be something for everyone, including cooking lessons and demonstrations, evenings out at local restaurants, lively discussions with our book group, and more. Details will be provided throughout the year via Sisterhood emails. New Sisterhood members are always welcome, and women who are new to the Temple are offered their first year’s Sisterhood membership free.
