Goals of Worship
Temple Sinai is committed to the belief that communal prayer matters.
We strive to provide warm, engaging, and participatory worship services that help us:
- To connect with God,
- To reach our highest moral potential,
- To join with the community of Jews,
- To transform our prayers into acts of loving kindness and deeds of social justice.
Worship can be your portal that brings a peaceful, spiritual balance to your otherwise hectic and stressful life. It can also be a wonderful vehicle for connecting with other members of your own family.
Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the different styles and times of worship we offer and decide which works the best for you and your family. Attend your preferred services consistently and your comfort level will grow. As you focus less on whether or not you follow the service, and more on its meaning for you, the value of regular worship can be fulfilled.
We enthusiastically encourage you to take advantage of the many Shabbat and Festival worship opportunities we offer at Temple Sinai.
